Hi

Is there any best practice to take a backup of around 20 TERA using RMAN , like divide the backup into parts.
because if we run it one session it will take long time, is there any recommendation here…

Backup per set of tablespaces.

You should consider Change Tracking or if your environment can support it Split Mirror Backups.
