I have an issue when calculating the percentage variance in Discoverer report and any tips will be great for me. Below is the issue,
The report I am working on has 4 tiers (Account segment) and I have two columns namely A & B. I am using two new columns through calculations namely C (which is A-B) & D (which is C/B*100). The issue I have is with the column "D" which gives the correct value at the Tier4 level whereas it sums up the values at the parent level (Tier3 for each account segemnt combination). This happens the same when the report is drilled for viewing at Tier 3 level, column D will show correct values for each child where the parent of this Tier2 displays the sum of the % values of Tier3.

Example file attached (Per_cal.xls)

Parent-1 for column "D" should be displayed as above, howvever the value this is displayed is the sum of all child (i.e 17.65% + 33.33% +33.33% = 84.31%) which is incorrect.

Please help me understand where I may be going wrong.
