Hello,

I have one question in redo log status.

Here are the below valid status?

UNUSED
CURRENT
ACTIVE
CLEARING
CLEARING_CURRENT
INACTIVE

I am not able to understand the difference between ACTIVE & INACTIVE?

Any one can help me on this?

ACTIVE log are those which are required for recovery while INACTIVW logs are no longer required or needed by oracle for recovery.
