What is the difference between Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g?
How can I install 10g? from where can I get its software?
Any site or book helpful regarding 10g?

I am visiting the Oracle website and bit confused...
Not finding the software of 10G for windows operating system. Could you please help me?

If it is your first Oracle database, you might be interested in 10g Express Edition.

right now I am at this page:

and I don't know which version of Oracle 10g should I use?
Can anybody help me?
I am using XP platform.

You are not Western European so take the Universal one or the Client if you just want a client and not a database.

I am using 10g Express Edition. I am new at it.When I click
'Go To Database Home Page' It does nothing and gives the message
'The page cannot be displayed' in the browser.
Can anybody help me???

Did you reboot? Is the database up and running? If not, start it up!

What address do you use? Should be something like http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex.
