Hi,
I want your suggestion regarding partitioned and mount points for oracle installation,
I have one dedicated serve with 4 hard drives each of 146 GB.
Now partitioned which i am following is as below
Hard Drive 1 of 146 GB
3 partitions
1- swap space 16 GB as ram is 8 GB
2- 50 GB for "/" mount point in which all /home, /usr, /opt covered
3- around 90 GB for "/uo1" mount point in which oracle software wil be installed
Hard Drive 2 of 146 GB
1 partitions
complete 146 GB to mount on "/u02" for oracle data and control files
Hard Drive 3 of 146 GB
1 partitions
complete 146 GB to mount on "/u03" for oracle data and control files
Hard Drive 4 of 146 GB
1 partitions
complete 146 GB to mount on "/u04" for oracle data and control files
Please let me know about above configuration , i would be thank full if you comment on that.
