hello

we have oracle 9i and 10g databases on windows servers 2003 and on solaris 9 and 10,
in order to manage these products using OEM Grid Control, do i have to install the OEM on a windows server in order to manage the products on the windows servers, and another OEM on solaris to manage the products that are on solaris?

please explain
thanks

The OEM needs to be installed ONLY once in one of your servers, what ever your preference is. Or even a brand new OS.

Then you install the Grid AGENT in ALL the servers (WinNT and Sun).

In our environment (good example to explain), we have OEM Grid control in RH Linux. All the databases are in either Sun or AIX boxes. The agent is installed in ALL the db servers.

Hope this helps.
