hi all:

I'm new to discoverer. I have a field or lets say column C, iwant to populate that column with the value from column A * column B. how should I do that? I created calculation but can't assign it on column C.

You had created a caclutaion (as A*B) and chk if tht Calculation is enabled in that particular worksheet or not. If it is not enabled then it will not be displayed. If it is enabled then it will be shown on the worksheet. Other than this I dont think of any other reason.... Also I didnt get wht meant by Assigning Calculation to Column C.
