Hi,

I am running Oracle 8.1.7.4 currently on Solaris 8.

Intend to upgrade OS to Solaris 10. Went to metalink, the certification is only up to Solaris 9.

Anyone has ever install Oracle 8.1.7.4 on Solaris 10 (SPARC) and if there are any issues at all?

Will upgrade Oracle later because of the PL/SQL stored procedures and such... but first anywhere I can get document that Oracle 8.1.7.4 works on Solaris 10?

It is not certified, this means it may or may not work but one day you will have a problem (whatever it is) and no support from Oracle.
Use it for test if you want but only for test NEVER for production.
