Hi ,
I m Mohammed Mujtaba Khan , I wanted to know how to decide for a SGA size , I mean how much memory should be allocated som as to get the max performance ,
in 11g I tried to mention sga_target=3g , its giving error ora-02097 and out of memory
at present my sga_max_size=512mb
at present my sga_target=512mb

my RAM is 0f 16GB
and HDD caopacity is 1TB
please do suggect me.
