Hi

Can I capture the v$session "username".

When i login as "normal user" i cant see the table

even when i try to give privilege to the "normal user"

im getting error

ora - 02030: Can only select from fixed tables/views

pls guide me.

Yes, only SYS can give select privilege and on the underlying view v_$session.
But the most important question is "why do you want to give access to v$session? What do you want to achieve?" Giving privileges on v$session is probably not the best way.

just want to record who is the user


like to identify who is create the document (who owner for that document) by login

The current user is given by the function... tada... USER. To verify it, just try:
select user from dual;
