I am a newbie and recently installed Oracle 9i on RHEL linux 4.0. I did not pay attention to whether OEM has been installed or not. How can I check this?

When I try to start or check the status using "oemctl" an error comes up saying

Error: native VM not supported

Could you please help me to sort this issue?
Any help is appreciated.
