One Scenario :
1. Database in Remote place.
2. Five machines connected thro' router to DB.
3. Another 3 machines connected thro' router to DB.
4. Total 8 machines located in same place and connected to same DB.
5. Its taking more time to Query (3 machines) and another 5 machines are quite fine.
What could be the reason? Network guys are telling the network is fine.

Don't trust network guy and activate trace in each session execute the same thing and see the network waits in the trace files.
