i am getting the following error in the alert log
of my database

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kgghstfel()+15] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x14] [] []

Do you have any idea, for the error

ORA-00600/ORA-07445/ORA-03113 = Oracle bug => search on Metalink and/or call Oracle support

Because in case of ORA-00600/ORA-07445/ORA-03113 there is not much you can do without a support contract.

It is very likely that the bug you encountered is fixed in the newest patch set to your database, but you can't get that patch set without a support contract.

Further, those internal bugs are usually highly specific in regards to WHAT WAS DONE when the error occurred, and you didn't tell us what what you (or somebody else) did when the error occurred.
