I have to use hindi and english both on some tables.
I have to load data through sql loader.
When i query i shall see english and Hindi data in there corresponding columns.
I guess i have to use UTF-8 but do i need to recreate the database

Quote: | In this case, you have to use AL32UTF8 and recreate the database unless your current database character set is US7ASCII
|
So,AL32UTF8 supports multiple languages and is a strict super set of US7ASCII.
My database has US7ASCII character set.
So just
SQL>alter database character set AL32UTF8;
would solve the issue.
